Ein Feuermelder sorgt auch bei Brandmeldeanlagen für mehr Sicherheit. Durch die Betätigung des Funk-Feuermelders wird bei Entdeckung eines Feuer sofort die Brandmeldezentrale alarmiert.
Sobald die Scheibe eingeschlagen wird, erfolgt der Versand des Signals an die Brandmeldezentrale, welche Alarm schlägt, die eingespeicherten Kontakte benachrichtigt und Sirenen / Alarm-Lautsprecher aktiviert (falls vorhanden).
